92Y Video: Norman Lear

On April 28, BusinessWeek Editor-in-Chief Stephen Adler sat down with Emmy Award-winning television pioneer Norman Lear (All In the Family, Maude, Sanford and Son and The Jeffersons) to talk about his career in show business, as well as being a political/social activist and philanthropist. You can watch the full program, including a funny bit about casting Mickey Rooney as Archie Bunker among other great stories, in the video above.

Upcoming: The Lamentations of Ian Frazier (Jun 10), Laughs from the Left: A Liberal Dose of Political Humor (Jun 26), Debra Winger in Conversation with Arliss Howard (Jun 30) and Warren Adler and Freddie Roman on the Influence of the Borscht-Belt Comedians on Mainstream American Humor (Sep 9)
