Sid and Marty Krofft‘s extraordinary “living cartoons” dominated Saturday-morning television throughout the 1970s. At one point they even had an amusement park in Atlanta. Nowadays the “televisionaries” boast a massive nostalgic fanbase on the web. But it all started with the 1969 premiere of H.R. Pufnstuf, the intro for which we were able to dig up:
