A new, high-profile show at Makor: On Monday, December 5, Nellie McKay will be performing live with a full band in a sneak peek of her new album, Pretty Little Head.

McKay’s last disc, Get Away From Me, was one of Rolling Stone’s records of the year and she became a critical darling praised by everyone from NPR to Blender magazine—all at the age of 19. Names like Eminem, Doris Day and Ella Fitzgerald keep popping up in reviews of her music.

Pretty Little Head includes guest appearances from kd lang and Cyndi Lauper and continues in the style of her first disc.
