92Y Video: Alan Zweibel in Conversation with Susie Essman
Author and comedian Alan Zweibel joined Susie Essman, known as the venomous Susie Greene on Curb Your Enthusiasm, on stage last September at the 92nd Street Y for a discussion of Zweibel’s latest book, Clothing Optional: And Other Ways to Read These Stories. Part of our Funny People series, the two spoke about Alan’s work on SNL writing for Gilda Radner and James Belushi, his friendship with Larry David, *running* the New York City Marathon, vacationing at a nudist camp, and more. As you would imagine, the whole highlight video is very humorous. Though the marathon bit, coming in at around the 1:45 mark, has to be our favorite.
Continuing our Funny People series, Susie will be here again next month on May 20, when she sits down with comedian and Letterman writer Bill Scheft.
