92Y Video: Andy Borowitz’s Countdown to Election ‘12: Only 538 Days Left

Andy Borowitz was here last week with friends Susie Essman, Hendrik Hertzberg, Calvin Trillin and surprise guest Lewis Black, for his Countdown to Election ‘12: Only 538 Days Left. Before the panel took the stage, Borowitz performed a monologue on stage that had the audience, and his panel guests, in stitches.

He poked fun at 92nd Street Y ("I start every day at”), MSNBC ("Lean forward? Yah, that’s also the official slogan of the rectal exam."), Dick Cheney ("You know the difference between Dick Cheney and Barack Obama? When Barack Obama shoots someone in the face, it’s Osama Bin Laden.") and more. Watch the video highlights above.

As much as Andy loves our website now, “I’ve made it my homepage,” he said, wait ‘till he gets a look at the new website, set to launch in June! Watch a sneak peek here.

Coming up next in 92Y Arts & Entertainment Talks: Jackie Hoffman in Conversation with Judy Gold on June 6. See all upcoming Talks here.
