Celebrated Broadway performer Francesca Harper is throwing her official Modo Fusion CD release party at Makor on Monday with a special installment of Modo Fusion Lounge. Conceived by Harper and written with New York Times critic-at-large and Pulitzer-Prize winning author Margo Jefferson, it’s a multimedia cabaret that “explores her experiences as a dancer, a singer and an African-American woman through an accessible, hybrid stage work.” Many of her Broadway friends and guest collaborators will be on hand for this lively, light-hearted show. For a deeper look into her relationship with New York, here are her answers to the 92YQ.
