André Gregory in Poetry Center Finale

Andre Gregory

The Y’s Unterberg Poetry Center celebrates its final event of the season tomorrow night with a special performance of Bone Songs by avant-garde theater legend André Gregory and others. From his Director’s Note:

Bone Songs is, in a sense, a kind of radio play, not totally unlike the device in My Dinner with André, which allows the audience listening to the words to imagine—each one in a singular way—the characters, the environment, Antarctica and so on. You can imagine it for yourself. In your mind’s eye. You could close your eyes during this performance and hardly miss a thing.

You definitely don’t want to miss this rare opportunity to catch one of the greats.
