Oscar nominations were released, and Tablet Magazine points out that one of their own, contributor David Rakoff, helped write The New Tenants, a nominee for Best Short Film (Live Action).
Rakoff, author of Fraud and Don’t Get Too Comfortable, is here Mar 8 with Annie Leonard for The Story of Stuff. Leonard is also the creator of the internet film sensation of the same name, The Story of Stuff, a 20-minute animation of the consumerist society.
