Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Broadway director Michael Mayer were interviewed by Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, on September 19 (seen above) as part of the Broadway Talks series. There was a healthy dose of participation via our social media audience, who submitted questions for Billie via Twitter and our blog. Jordan even wished a Twitter follower a happy 21st birthday from stage! As Jordan remarked at one point: “It’s a Twitter world, we’re just living in it!” Indeed!

And Daniella, if you’re reading, Jordan used your question at the end, asking Billie: “...music is actually changing. Rock is changing. Which advice would you give to the next generations of musicians to keep rock alive?” (look for it at the 10.17 mark!)
