Liz Smith: 92nd Street All-Stars

image

In the gossip pages of yesterday’s New York Post, Liz Smith gabs the glitz that exists 50 blocks north of 42nd:

Where to go in N.Y.C. to see the famous, the glam, the smart? Michael’s? Le Cirque? Daniel? El Rio Grande? The Waverly Inn? Well, maybe, but here’s a sampling to be glimpsed at the 92nd Street Y from April to June.

Mike Wallace, Jeff Greenfield, Dan Rather, Evelyn and Leonard Lauder, Daryl and Steve Roth, Ellen Burstyn, Marianne Williamson, Don Rickles, Regis Philbin, Gloria Steinem, Alice Walker, Richard Dreyfuss, Bruce Dern, Yoko Ono, Meredith Vieira, Pete Hamill and Oscar winner Al Gore.

Big Al’s May 24 forum with Charlie Rose is already SRO. He’s never been more popular, not even back when he won the popular vote and lost to Bush.

Take advantage of a 20% discount on select lectures in April and view all upcoming Lectures & Conversations with new ones added all the time.
