‘Married by Elvis. Divorced by Friday’

imageIf you recall, last year around this time 92nd Street Y celebrated the Smith Magazine Six-Word Memoir book, It All Changed in an Instant. Take a trip down memory lane and revisit the six-word memoirs 92Y Blog readers submitted in the comments here.

On February 14, Smith Magazine brings the show to 92YTribeca for a six-word memoir story slam on love & heartbreak. Guests include Deborah Copaken Kogan, Elizabeth Wurtzel, Baratunde Thurston, Darin Strauss, Rachel Sklar, Michele Carlo, Sara Barron, Kimberly Kaye and… Michael Hearst, who will be turning the six-word memoirs into song. Oh. Yah. Tickets are available here.

What’s more, Galleycat is giving one lucky person a a chance to tell their own six-word memoir onstage at the reading; find out more.
