Matthew Broderick with Kenneth Lonergan in September at 92Y

imageActor Matthew Broderick has had an illustrious film career with starring roles in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Godzilla, Glory and War Games. And this fall, he stars in The New Group’s premiere production of The Starry Messenger.

He is also married to Sarah Jessica Parker. These are important notes in his biography, as contrary to what you might have read on those blogs, Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker are not moving to Park Slope. They are far too famous to leave Manhattan.

As the New York Times recently reported, Parker and Broderick now live in the West Village, and have not purchased a house in Park Slope, in what is, “truth be told,” the New York Time reminded all, “is still an outer borough.” Matthew Broderick is a resident of Manhattan, who does things like appear at the 92nd Street Y on Sep 30 with Kenneth Lonergan, author and childhood friend, where they will reflect on their parallel careers and their first stage collaboration in The Starry Messenger.

If Park Slope wants Matthew, they’ll have to come here we guess.
