NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg made big news by declaring his political independence with the decision to leave the Republican Party yesterday. This move has fueled talks of a possible third-party Presidential run and given at least one New Yorker blogger, venture capitalist Fred Wilson, his own "quit the party" thoughts. Here's a 6-minute audio clip of Mayor Bloomberg speaking about his differences with the Bush administration and his non-affiliated personal stance on a wide range of issues.
