National Book Critics Circle Announces Finalists

image

Over at one of our favorite bookstores last Saturday, Housing Works Bookstore Cafe, Brad Gooch and Louise Gluck were nominated as finalists for National Book Critic Circle Awards – and both are appearing at the 92Y Poetry Center in April. The full list of finalists can be seen here, congratulations to all.

On Apr 8, former U.S. Poet Laureate Louise Glück and Iraqi poet Dunya Mikhail will read at 92Y Poetry Center, and on Apr 18, Gooch is here to talk on Flannery O’Connor in an event that includes a light brunch and conversation.

Both events are only $10 for those aged 35 and under, as are most events at the Main Reading Series.
