The New Year is fast approaching. Soon we can say goodbye to 2010 and hello 2011! As an added bonus, we will also be saying good bye to those ridiculous glasses people have been wearing for the past decade on the eve of each new year. They can’t continue to make them in 2011, right??

Speaking of New Years Eve, if standing outside in the freezing cold with thousands of drunk revelers doesn’t seem like your thing, there will be music and dance all night long at 92Y. At 8pm, Los Romero, the “royal family of the guitar,” will play A Champagne New Year’s Eve Concert, complete with champagne toast. Also beginning at 8pm, and running until 2am, is New Year’s Hustle Bash. DJ’s will play the classics until ance 10pm, and then it will be a Hustle until 2am. Hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening and there will be more champagne at midnight. So put on your dancing shoes, and celebrate the New Year at 92Y, where hopefully, the only glasses you will see will be filled with champagne!
