Péter Esterházy and András Schiff

imagePéter Esterházy is: “one of the most widely known contemporary Hungarian writers. His books are considered to be significant contributions to postwar literature.” In 2004, he won the Prestigious Peace prize at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2004. And Harper Collins has just published the English translation of his book: Not Art: A Novel.

The Unterberg Poetry Center is excited to host Esterhazy for a rare U.S. appearance on Mar 1 for Words and Music: Péter Esterházy and András Schiff. Esterházy’s reading will include musical interludes by Schiff, his dear friend. Purchase tickets here, where they only $10 for those aged 35 and under. Schiff by the way, is appearing solo tomorrow evening.
