Podium, the Poetry Center’s New Literary Magazine

The 92nd Street Y Unterberg Poetry Center just launched the winter issue of Podium, a new literary journal that publishes student work from writing program classes taught by well-known and established writers and poets. The instructors pick one or two students whose work has reached publishable quality and then submits it the journal. Photographer M.C. Gaudet provided the images for each piece (23!), creating a wonderful visual narrative to the pages. Also inside Podium, check out On the Lit Tip blog posts, listen to podcasts from Reading Series events and more. Podium‘s mission: “Our hope is to bring exposure in New York’s literary community to the talented aspiring writers who study at the 92nd Street Y’s Unterberg Poetry Center. Enjoy!”
