Hollywood star and Broadway performer Laura Linney, who just completed a Broadway run in Time Stands Still, was the latest guest for Broadway Talks at 92Y last Sunday with Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters which owns and operates five Broadway theaters. (Watch video of Laura Linney’s photo op before the event).

Theater has taught her all the values she believes in, Linney told Roth, such as “discipline, tolerance, and creativity.” When Roth asked her about the relation between artist and subject – Linney replied that it’s a very interesting subject, but one she hadn’t thought about . “Hey, it’s the 92nd Street Y,” Roth ribbed her, “we bring our A game.”

Next in the series on May 24 is Sean Hayes in Conversation with Jordan Roth. This event will be held at 92YTribeca. Nathan Lane in Conversation with Jordan Roth follows that on June 27 back uptown at 92Y.
