Thank You For Smoking

Another film note for you because the Makor Film program just has way too much good stuff going on right now. Among this season’s free screenings is a sneak preview of Aaron Eckhart in Thank You For Smoking. Thank You For Smoking is the latest screen adaptation of a Christopher Buckley novel and tells the satirical story of a lobbyist for the tobacco industry and his “heroic efforts to defeat puritanical, anti-smoking forces.” The trailer speaks for itself:
