The Music Room with Paul C Williams

image
The Music Room class with Paul C Williams at 92Y

Paul C Williams, married with twins, first started teaching music to children while working for the Shaftsbury Society in England. He has a parallel career as a musician and singer songwriter, performing regularly in New York City under the stage name Paul Clements, and has written music for Musical Theatre, Off Broadway and Nickelodeon. He recently wrote Reaching Out To say Hello for the 92nd Street Y’s Educational Outreach Program.

Paul teaches The Music Room! classes at 92Y, classes that are based on the concept that everyone possesses an affinity for music, and that by nurturing your child’s innate ability, you can maximize his or her potential for a lifelong association with music. Paul and the 92Y School of Music both believe that children learn from experience. “By providing a variety of stimuli for children and by neither limiting them, nor forcing them,” Paul maintains, “we are giving them the greatest gift that we can.”

During The Music Room! class, each child receives a copy of The Music Room CD that contains specially composed original music for you and your child to experience at home. You can listen to two tracks from a Music Room CD below. The seven session classes are now accepting registrations, click here to learn more and sign up.
