Video: The Wire’s David Simon and Richard Price

Last night in the Makor Screening Room, HBO’s The Wire creator David Simon and novelist/screenwriter Richard Price were loose, engaging and charming in a conversation on the critically acclaimed series about Baltimore’s urban decay. Here’s a three-minute clip that covers talk about D.C. crime writer George Pelecanos and the show’s Stringer Bell character (warning: some strong language). A full audio podcast will be available in the future.

SPOILER ALERT: If you haven’t made it to the end of Season 3 and don’t want the surprise ruined, stop watching this at the 2:23 mark.

Make sure to check out the Makor Screening Room’s amazing line-up for September and October.
