Tom Cruise visited the 92nd Street Y last December with director Bryan Singer for a special screening of their film Valkyrie and Q&A with Dr. Annette Insdorf, moderator of our long running Reel Pieces Series. (Students at our de Hirsch Residence had a great time with him afterwards, signing autographs and hamming it up for the camera.) If you missed it (hey, it was Tom Cruise, tickets went fast), you have another chance to see the event. MGM Home Entertainment has announced that Valkyrie is now hitting the DVD shelves on Blu-ray Disc and a Special Edition DVD that will include exclusive footage from the Y event.
